A scenario-based optimization model for planning and redesigning the sale and after-sales services closed-loop supply chain

In today’s competitive world, the quality of after-sales services plays a significant role in customer satisfaction and retention. Some activities require spare parts owing to importance satisfaction, needed must be supplied until end warranty period. this study, mixed-integer linear optimization model is presented redesign plan sale supply chain that addresses challenges supplying after production stopped due demand reduction. Three different options are considered for parts, including production/procurement extra while product being produced, remanufacturing, procurement just time they needed. Considering based on product’s life cycle one contribution paper. Also, paper uncertainties associated with parameters through Mulvey’s scenario-based approach. Applicability investigated using numerical example from literature. The results indicate remanufacturing preferred third option. Moreover, recommended when cost less than 23% cost.
